Brown-lacewings (Insecta: Neuroptera: Hemerobiidae) from Brazilian savannah in Central Brazil

In this study were documented the species of brown-lacewings (Neuroptera: Hemerobiidae) found at Parque Nacional da Chapada dos Veadeiros, in Alto Paraíso de Goiás, state Goiás and Grande Sertão Veredas, Gaúcha, Minas Gerais, both Brazil, based on a survey carried out with Malaise traps between February 2018 May 2019. During samplings 60 specimens hemerobiids captured, being 26 Nusalala tessellata (Gerstaecker, 1888), 13 Nomerobius argentinensis González Olazo, 1990, eight Sympherobius amazonicus Penny & Monserrat, 1985, six Megalomus impudicus five Hemerobius hernandezi 1996, one cuspidatus Oswald, 1990 Notiobiella sp. Nom. are reported by first time to Brazil H. hernandezi, M. impudicus, S. Brazil.

A survey of the green lacewings associated with the melon agroecosystem was carried out with the aim of including lacewings into the integrated management program of melon pests. The genus Zachobiella Banks, 1920 is reviewed and a new species Zachobiellayunanica sp. n. described from China. All species found in China are redescribed, and Zachobiellasubmarginata Esben-Petersen, 1929 is recorded from China for the first time. A key to the adults of Zachobiella is provided.
